Just on a whim a couple of months ago I checked for upcoming solar eclipses and was surprised to find that I was very near the path of totality for tomorrow's event.

I used to stay on top of this stuff but I had no idea this was coming. The last time there was a total solar eclipse anywhere near here was 1979 and I would have had to travel to North Dakota to view it. So I sat that one out.

Tomorrow I will be out in the country somewhere near Holt, Missouri to witness this phenomenon. I hope it is not cloudy.

Anyone here in the path? Anyone traveling to view the eclipse?
