I like it for the Monday weekly 'regular car reviews' channel, the 'daily dose of internet' channel, and hamster, kitty, and RWD Volvo videos including service and fandom.
Many fan-made star trek and star wars productions are here of varying quality, if you like that stuff.
YooTuube also has a TikTok thing named Shorts. Many videos were on TikTok.
Some commercial production series are available for rent for cheap. If you can or want to see all the price per can add up. May remain cheaper then a cable or broadband subscription service.
The content choice can exceed the imagination. There is a lot of commercial and original music that is covered in many ways by different amateur or up and coming artists.
I do not know if any other such service comes close for free or occasional rent.
If you use uBlock Origin (Raymond Hill) you can avoid the adverts.
Then there is our Uncle Art's wiper shaft need lube honk honk video. Reminds me to re-secure the wiper motor magnets to the inside of the wiper motor housing, yet I'll forget again. I drip some Mobil synthetic 15W50 down the shaft on occasion. Before and after rainy / winter time.
The many cooking shows are also cool as if the beekeeping, and lane mower your lawn for free channels.

Click Share and Embed to copy the URL to the video in a 560-pixel wide frame as you see here.
Star Trek Continues teaser trailer. Maybe the best fan production examples before CBS / Paramount said no more. Roddenberry in the 1970s said let the fan create.
Star Trek New Voyages / Phase II
Regular Car Reviews Volvo 240 straight pipe exhaust test drive
Original content yet not quite the commercial productions so you can cut the cord.
