Since 2010 when I started the facebook thing on dial-up modem in Spokane Valley, WA, I found some facebook groups:

I always advocate the brickboard.

I do not know of large Volvo AWD/FWD forums. Maybe Klaus knows?

I'm persuading and exhorting these folks to come here to get more users asking questions, solving problems, and other Volvo chat.

If you read these facebook forums, the responses are not as comprehensive as we all respond with here.

I guess it is working?

Has anyone taken up the 700-900 series FAQ charge. I may ask Jarrod if I can do so. The FAQ needs some serious updating. It has been like five years since the last revision.

I'm not sure if anyone is still maintaining the FAQ. It was a user who updated it annually, but I haven't heard anything in quite a while. It used to be posted to multiple places, but I'm not sure if that's still happening.

If you'd like to update it, I do have a process to clean it up that you should start with. I can also make it all fed off an S3 share so it could be updated easily by a trusted party.

You have to nav to the 900/90 forum. The posts indicate the FAQ is owned by the VCOA. The 700 forums mention the FAQ yet the update is I guess the same as hosted here on your brickboard.com.

I'm at the issue to get a technical writer job.

I'd rather have the job and begin your process to clean up the 700-900 FAQ. The Volvo 700-900 FAQ is hosted at several sites so far as I can tell, and the version is current elsewhere with the version here.

Else, maybe beginning now will help. I can hack at JavaScript, yet HTML 3-4 is about it. I can work with CSS I see you use to control tables and such.

Also helps that people should disable ad-block.

Maybe you can raise rates by a penny or so with the google or other ad service? Maybe a closer facebook integration? I dunno.

Consumer price index and dollar devaluation continue apace. Rather really rapidly in the last 25-30 years. Ask how much the unit value for your ad price was when you started. And see how many currency units reflect the same value.

Help my morning warm-up, yet I admit, and rather tensely, the misinformation on the various facebook RWD forums is shocking.

If Klaus or some other AWD/FWD forums users engage the AWD/FWD facebook groups, the, maybe they find the same thing?

I include posts like "Art Benstein does not 'facebook' " (so far as I know!). Yet the name Art Benstein is known on these forums. I link user to Art't cleanflametrap and to sites with other info.

KGV, there is a pointer to the FAQ's over in England. Do a Google search of 700 FAQ, there are a few sites that copied the Brickboard's list.

Keeping it running is better than buying new

Matthews Volvo Site (MVS) is quite active in terms of AWD/FWD discussions. But it's not so active in terms of RWD, especially the older PV/122/140/1800 stuff. Plenty of advertising going on over there also, however there's good and bad with that. It's almost like the two sites should merge......

But I still prefer the way Jarrod has constructed the BB forums.

Why I'd been exhorting the facebook Volvo user group masses to come here since 2011 or earlier.

I also hope to resume the 700-900 FAQ curation. It has been some five years since any updates culminating into a new version.

Then again, I guess read-only is fine, lest Jarrod ends the site wholly.
