RIP Irv Gordon

Irv Gordon has died I've just heard. For those not familiar, he drove 3 million miles in a P1800S. RIP.

Thanks for this post, and for the link to the article. Not only did it lead me to examine my own mortality, but also to motivate me to get going on my own 67 p-1800 which has been sitting in my garage with a compromised gas tank for too long now!

VOLVO TUFF. So was Irv. It`s amazing, "Man and Machine". That car still looks great. A car made today would never stand up like that. Maintenance is key to lasting machinery but when you buy a brand new piece of crap right off the showroom floor like today, you have no chance. I can tell you first hand that car companies do not stand behind their junk. I`ll take a good "OLD" Volvo any day. R.I.P. IRV GORDAN Great article. Larry 1958 444, 1963 544, 1992 740 2012 ford fusion with 50,000 mi. piece of junk.
