NOTE |
Her name is "Ruby" and she's a very red 1988 Volvo 740 GL Turbo Intercooler Wagon with 5-spd, PS, PB, AC. She has factory alloy rims, delux radio with 4 speakers, power windows, locks and sunroof options. Ruby has spent her life mostly in the dry Colorado climate. Good paint, solid - no rust body, some dings common to mileage but pics will show nothing serious. Ruby has delux black leather interior. Electric windows, sunroof and locks all work and all glass is good. :)
Have kept all repair notes and records of my ownership and any that came with Ruby. Many recent parts and tune up items. She's a reliable starter and a fast lady but fuel system needs help (and it's NOT the fuel pump!). Excellent potential for a Volvo hand who knows how to sort it out and a few other things. Good clutch. Does NOT appear to have the wire rot problem. About 245,000 miles but compression OK and oil consumption about quart per 1000 miles. Nothing missing if you want a great parts car. 8)
Respondents who come and view Ruby will also be told about my fave local salvage yard that has a saveable and complete 1972 Volvo 144 sedan.
Must sell, "as is": $1000/offer. Payment by cash or direct transfer to my bank (sorry scammers).
