| After a new ( junkyard ) gauge, new sensor to gauge, new voltage stabilizer for the dash cluster, and a jumped compensation board, temp readings were still high and erratic. Sensor for Autometer gauge is in block drain. Purchased water temp gauge for peace of mind. Readings on highway varied from 190 to 202. 202 was seen after high speeds coming to complete stop due to construction on a 90+ degree day. 195 is the average. I have an 87 degree Wahler thermostat. Voltmeter shows 12.2 at position 2, 14.1 at start, stays right around 13.6 when warmed up with lights on, will drop with blower fan on or rear fogs activated. |

| Just got my daughter's car back from the paint shop - they put on my new mirrors and touched up the trim. (had to sand her down to the metal on the trunk and top due to previous owner's neglect) -
But I think she looks pretty good right now!!! |
