Volvo HT-161 three-way speakers on modern living room furniture on 9 March 2016. Replaced the 5.25" pin cushion woofer drivers in all four enclosures. In one pair, also replaced the tweeters and midrange drivers. Sounds nice connected to the Technics brand SA-290 receiver amp. |

Busy weekend. Tried yesterday and today. I have not been able to pinpoint the location of leaking. I took some pictures and hope they provide some useful info.
though there is oil leaking, oil level is still at an OK level.
One observation. Idling engine seems producing less leaking. After 40 miles of driving (10 miles last night and 30 miles this morning), oil is seen everywhere (last photo). |

NOTE |
Here's a simple fix for the broken speaker grille cover on my 1995 940 wagon. I held up the speaker and drilled a hole into the metal of the door and then simply inserted a screw - without over-tightening. Be careful to have the screw far enough towards the door hinge so the window won't interfere when it goes up. I had no problem with that.
Only took 20 minutes to do both doors. |
