Purchased this 740 on e-bay (that's scary!), flew into San Antonio from Colorado and drove back. Wanted to do part of Route 66 so drove to Oklahoma City and picked up R66 from there. The car told me her name was "Lucille". Route 66 Oklahoma 12/8/07.

This is the PV I own today, not the car pictured below. It is a twin. It came from CA. It was found dead in VA. It became a father/son project. It now runs well and should be on the road in 2008.

This is the car that my dad's new volvo 544 showed the picture of when she was new. This is the same car today. She is garaged every winter and because of this has not seen snow in over 20 years. My original car when I was younger was a 1960 122S. My dream came true when we found this car. We live in Rhode Island.
