NOTE |
Original FPR off of a 1989 740T. Pic is a close up of the diaphragm. The rubber is obviously degraded and allowing fuel to seep through to the vacuum side. Upper right corner of pic shows a minor flaw in manufacturing (ribbed seal misaligned?), no negative effects on performance. Center of diaphragm houses a flattened, swiveling ball backed by a spring for push-pull retention in the seat.
Thoughts: 1)FPR was destined to fail eventually. 2)Ethanol fuel may have been the last straw in the service life of this part. |

NOTE |
FPR off a 1989 740T. This is the vacuum side. The spring is pretty hefty. There is a fine film of rust coating the entire inside which is probably normal although this seal is in fact leaking. There is also a slight manufacturing defect on the diaphragm seal (far right, ribbed part), although I doubt it had any negative effect on functionality. |

This is the mounting bracket for the AC and Alternator for my 90 740 turbo with a B230ft.
There are EIGHT bushings here. The PS pump does not have bushings and is on the other side of the engine. |

NOTE |
Not sure where the leads coming off of the top mounting bolt (at firewall) are, or where they're supposed to be connected (mine are loose...found them this way when replacing the d-cap and rotor). |

NOTE |
Blowing out an intercooler the only way a redneck can. All you need is a leaf blower, duct tape, some AC flush, and rags. Note the pipe between the intercooler and intake is backwards to allow configuration for overboard ejection. |
