| I have tightened up a few gearbox lids this way.
Used a roll pin on the shifter and honed out the slots on the cover.

| Note the cracked solder joint in the printed circuit. This caused intermittent fuel gauge operation. I used a telescope eyepiece (you need to use a strong eye loupe or magnifier) to inspect every joint and I resoldered several suspect ones. |
