The Volvo stuff is also pure sytnthetic so a price comparison is not fair unless you compare to a pure sytnthetic ATF. I'd use the Volvo stuff, I used it in my 740turbo manual and it worked great, much better than the dino that was in there. It replaces ATF type F. ATF type F is thicker than dex\Merc so you may have some slippage problems.
