if your vehicle is covered under extended warranty which i assume if at 100,000
km, the vehicle should be towed back to the dealership, most likely covered
by on-call. the dealer has to check for codes, there may be software problems
affecting your trans. demanding the dealership to change trans fluid is fine
as long as your willing to pay for it, this is a maintenance issue. the trans
may in fact be toast, in which case the trans and new fluid would be covered
anyways.
