Auto tranny or manual? Either way, demand a full flush and fill with new transmission fluid. At 100,000km, it should be done anyway, even if Volvo normally says they don't touch it...typical that it's not done and this happens right after the warranty exires (makes me think that not touching it is just another ploy for the dealer to make more money off of us owners).
