door locks S70 1998

I know what you mean about the trim. As old as they are, the trim gets pretty brittle sometimes. Those door latch bezels get pretty easy to remove if you are looking at a picture of the trim already removed. That way you know where all the tabs are and just how to approach it.

When pulling to door panels on mine, I always have a razor blade, a sharpie and some silicone 'goop' to deal with the plastic tab anchors that always try to pull away from the door panel. You have to mark the panel however you need to in order to re-adhere the anchor to it in exactly the same place. The razor is the easiest way I've found to get the green factory glue off the panel and the mating surface on the black plastic anchors.

Other than that, be careful with your white plastic arms coming off the actuators. The ones that connect with your door post pins that go up and down to lock and unlock the doors. I filled mine with the same silicone so that if they do break, they are still just as usable since the silicone holds it all in place anyway. See the pic in this link:

Good luck.
