Oil pressure problem S70 2000

so after putting a new oil pump and no change, i did what you suggested and checked the oil level while low pressure condition.
while i had plenty of oil i did notice alot of air bubbles on the dipstick.
so im investigating the suction part of the oil system. i did remove the oil pan and the oil pick up tube. the o-ring was in great shape but the oil pick up tube screen was "sucked into" the tube itself and there was alot of gunk blocking the pick up tube!
