Both the 1995 and 98 engines have 2 fuel lines coming up the block from the rear of the car. The 95 has the FPR under the injector rail and uses the return fuel line to go back to the tank. The 1998 uses the same 'return' line, but as a vacuum line to go all the way back to the fuel filter area where the FPR is.
When you get the complete engine from the 1998, try to steal the FPR and a few hoses around it.
BTW, when was the last time you had your 1995 at 3K+ rpm for 10 minutes? Is it possible that you have accumulated some dirt on an exhaust valve and now it is not closing? Too bad we cannot afford a TV snake to look down into the cylinder and look at the valves.
