'01 S60 Electrical Problems S60 2001

The key memory is in the CEM and I have heard that the CEM can burn up if an incorrect jump start, read more than 18V is applied. You did not have that problem.
Your car started in the morning and went "click" in the afternoon. The fact that it clicked, means the electronics were OK. Sounded more like an almost dead battery with not enough voltage to engage the solenoid for the starter.
I am closer to Borton's than you by about 90 miles, but they won't let me look at your toy! I can always be around for moral support :) and a cup of coffee.
