AUTOMATIC:Everyday same thing: i go outside, start it up, stick it in gear, and take off for the day. well i pull out of the driveway and the car will not shift out of 1st gear, i have to shift to neutral then back to drive and then the car will shift to 3rd lol. car cant get out of its own way. once in 3rd the car will not leave it unless i come to a complete stop in which i get first again. after about 5 to 10 min of driving the transmission hunts for 4th, finds it and then the transmission works perfect. By perfect i mean it will downshift and upshift as it is supposed to. the car will not have a problem again until i let it sit over 2 hours or so and the tranny gets cold. Now, i dont think that the transmission is gone because after it warms up, it is perfect. thinking about changing the gear selector microswitch and pnp switch (neutral safety switch) what do you all think?
