Ambient Air temperature gauge S80

this past weekend, I noticed the ambent air gauge stopped working and only shows 2 horizontal dash lines. Does this indicate a faulty sensor? Is there a specific fuse for this? I do not know where this is located to diagnose if the connector maybe is loose.

Please advise --thanks
