Evaporative Canister Shut-off Valve S70 1999

Would anyone happen to know where the subject component is located on my car? I'm looking at All-Data, and it shows two different locations for this valve. The engine controls section of their site shows that it's under the left fender and requires removal of the wheel-well liner to service. But the wiring diagrams show that it's near the back seat, possibly under the car -- the diagram doesn't show sufficient detail to pinpoint the location. Which location is it?

BTW, the reason for the query is that I'm coming up with a persistent code of P0442 (ECM-4308) -- evaporative emissions small leak detected. From what I've read, the most common cause of this is a faulty purge valve, which I had replaced about 10 months ago for an occurance of the same code. That fixed the problem 10 months ago, but replacing the same purge valve ($18 from FCP Groton) now is not fixing it again.

I've also replaced the gas cap while trying to remedy this newest "small leak" problem ($8 from FCP Groton), and I'm thinking to try a new EC shut-off valve before I give in and bring it to the dealer. I *LOATHE* this dealer's service department, as they'll only do the same thing that I'm doing, but with an hour's labor and a day without my car every time they want to try another part.

Does anybody have any other ideas?
