... and oil-change - hard run - boost gauge 128k miles turbo 850

had car for about 1000 miles prior to changing oil. did not run it hard any more than punching it a few times. After oil change i took it out and ran it somewhat hard for abit. Didn't red-line it or anything that hard but did exercise it a bit on the interstate.

it appears, and i'm not into or looking for speed or power, but that during 'normal' driving now, and i do drive conservatively, that the boost gauge has a higher reading, closer to the 'white', under light accleration, compared to previous.

does this make sense ? if so, what are the implications ?

see msg. below re: air-pump / vac. reg. ! this was disconnected at oil-change time.

thanks

jack
