air conditioning 850 1995

The compressor in my 95 850 stays engaged unless I turn off the a/c. The pressure reading is a steady 50 on the manifold gauge. I know it should be cycling every 30 seconds between 45 and 20 or so. Any thoughts? What should the manifold gauge read with engine off?

Also, I take it there is no high pressure port, correct?
