Shudder from front wheel on braking 850 1996

We're just back from a trip to the mountains, and I noticed - how could I help? - a shudder from what seems to be the right front wheel when braking on downhill runs. It does not happen right away, but after a while, and seems to go away if I run on the level or uphill for a while, as if the problem occurs when the brakes get hot.

Any ideas?
