I posted last month about loosing my turbo performance and had talked about recently replacing the air filter. I was directed to check the vacuum hoses and MAF. Thanks guys. I dint find anything wrong with those options. However I did find a hole in the intercooler hose that connects the upper hose from the back of the engine to the lower hose that goes to the bottom of the radiator. I am going to replace this soon but I was wondering if this is the problem with my turbo also. I would also appreciate if someone could direct me to a site that explains what the intercooler does and how it works, just for my general knowledge. Does air only go through these hoses? I only ask because i noticed oil around the outside of the hose where the hole is. Thanks in advance
