Really need your help here guys.My radiator fan stopped running & consequently its heating. I took it to the dealer for diagnostics and they said it needed a new thermostat and ECT sensor.While my wife picked the car from the service department, I promptly walked to the parts and bought a thermostat and temp sending unit as I figured I could easily d.i.y Before I ripped the temp sending unit out of the bag and void a return on elec. parts, the dash temp. gauge was reading right , that the car was getting hot.On the service paperwork that my wife picked up, it stated ECT sensor, while I purchaesed an IAT sensor, which sends temp readings to the dash , which has been correct. What sensor should I use (probably ECT ) , and where is it, and how hard is it to replace?
