Not a Volvo guy but the wife wants one! Any advice?... S60

I'm a BMW guy and don't know Volvos well at all. My wife has fallen in love with the S60 and wants to get one, so I'm starting my "research". What can you guys tell me about the S60? Is there a "Buyer's Guide" or FAQ that I can start with? Consumer reviews any good? Any major problems to look out for? Etc, etc,..

If I buy, it will be from a private party, not worried about mileage and do all my own wrenching (within reason).
