XC90 - still pondering FWD version - but concerned with quality XC90

Hello: I looked at a couple FWD XC90s at my local dealer, and compared to the price for a turbo V70, its about a wash. However, the V70 is recommended at Consumers Reports, but the XC90 is not.

I have heard stories of wheel bearing failures, oil leaks, CD changer problems, among other things.

Am I better off with a V70 or XC90? I like the extra cargo space, I don't need the 3rd row, and can do without 4WD.
