Rear shocks absorbers replacement 850

1) How can I tell if I have shocks absorbers with Nivomates or w/o Nivomates.I have 97 T5 Station Wagon.
2)On may station wagon I had modification – third row seat . There is a board covering access to shocks. Does anybody know how to remove the board. I do not want to break it.
