'98 V70 Testimonial

Recently in CA we had record rainfall which even caused landslides and sink holes in some parts. On one of those rainy nights, I was driving home on the freeway.

I anticipated there to be moments where puddles on the freeway would jerk my car or I would hear the frightening sound of water splashing under the car. I anticipated this because that was my experience with Honda Accords that I drove in the rain.

My '98 V70 was solid! The V70 gripped the road well even on turns despite the puddles. The cabin was quiet and seemed to dampen any sound from underneath. It handled as if the conditions were dry even though it was torrential rain.

That night, I passed an over turned full size p/up and a spun out sports car.
Even with a faulty ABS, my V70 got me home without a fuss. I wondered why this performed so differently than the Accord and thought it may have been the weight. Whatever the case, I truly felt safe in the V70. It truly is "built for Life".
