99 V70XC Transmission HELP!!! V70-XC70 1999

I was driving along the other day and it started.... The car lunges foward from a complete stop. There is a grinding sound when in first or reverse gears. And at times... like now... I put it in reverse and nothing happens... it goes nowhere... When 2 or higher gears there is no issue. Itjust started this recently and seems to ba worsened when the "W" buttin is activated to after....

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
