I bet you never had this one before:
If you guys followed my threads, you know that Victor repaired my control unit. It worked fine for a few months and then starting acting up again. Victor (who is a great and very competant guy) took it back and tested it for a week on his 850. Nothing....
I installed it back on and it would come on and off. After a little troubleshooting, I found out that it would only come on when I would accelerate hard. It would then stay on until I turn the car off.
Of course the first time, Volvo had the standard answer ready for my, "it's the control unit"... wrooong! So I went back to them and made it clear that the unit was NOT the problem.
Well, it turns out it was a pressure sensor that is on the side of the master cylinder that was faulty. $100 new or... free at the junk yard and I'm on the road again.
