Fault Code - CEL 850 1995

The check engine light on my wife's 95 855T has come on twice in the last two weeks. I checked the A2 slot codes and it came up with 435 which my Haynes manual says "Heated Oxygen Sensor responsive slow". I reset the CEL last week but it came on again three days later. What does this mean and does it need attention. It is winter here in KC with tempratures in the 30s.
