non-remote door locks locking on their own 850 1995

A poltergeist is locking the car.

My key-only lock system is designed so that all locks are activated (unlocked or locked) whenever the key is turned in the driver door, passenger door, or tailgate. It's a smart design that helps to prevent locking the keys in the car or forgetting a door unlocked.

But now we have problems.
Driving down the road, all locks suddenly lock. So pull up the driver's door lock up to unlock them all. Then let go and return focus to driving and they immediately lock again. Repeat over and over in a fight with the poltergeist, which the poltergeist is currently winning.

It's not an RF issue. The car does not have a remote system.

Any ideas of what it could be? I saw some talk in an earlier post about a door lock ground?
