Poor mileage.

Hi,

I removed my ABS controller to send to Victor.

After that I've noticed that my mileage is poor and actually goes DOWN when cruising on the highway. Before, it never went below 19mpg. Now it's at 17.6 and dropping.

I've also noticed that the temp gauge doesn't reach the 3:00 position for a very long time. I'm going to replace the thermostat since the car has over 73K on it. Some have suggested that a failure in the open position fools the ECU into maintaining a too rich fuel mixture.

I've checked to make sure that all the visible vacuum hoses are reattached and that the MAF sensor wiring is connected. I removed the airbox to access the controller.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
