HELP! Coolant Leak & Black splatter -missing 6Nm cap (850 turbo '97) 850 1997

Just had my 850 turbo (97) in for Oil Change & ABS/Tracs Lights on intermittantly.
They informed me I needed a new ABC Controller box. I understood from Brickboard that these all fail anytime after 67000miles. Which mine is slightly over that.. OK so I ate the $500 part + 2 hr labor.

Picked up the car next morning. Son noticed black splatter on passanger side mirror and near passanger wheel area. I said, "That's odd. They said they washed it"

Drove home (approx 9 miles) then another 4 miles. Parked car.. kids noticed.. Coolant flowing ALOT from under front passanger wheel area. Litterally a gallon or so of it. Didn't appear cloudy or even dirty.

I popped hood .. noticed near the resivour a nob like thing - Though looked odd like a cap or hose was missing. Later.. discovered this is where the A/C "6Nm" cap goes. (they did check the A/C when in shop)

Fluid looked a bit low in the Coolant resivour.. I filled a little H2O in there. Problem didn't re-occur. But called Volvo & had them tow to shop.

They found nothing. And Clearly "quietly" put the missing cap back on.. and washed my car to get the black crud off... (Which by the way didn't come off!)

Any guesses as to what's going on here.
They claim: All hoses are on ok, pressure tested OK.. no sticky residue, ????

Is is time for me to trade this puppy in>
Help!
If anyone has a clue I'd appreciate any help.
