The AC in my car works, but only 5-10 minutes at a time after which I suddenly get a blizzard of very humid and warmer air. If I turn off the AC and leave it off for five minutes or so it will blow cold air again for a few minutes, and then the cycle repeats.
When it works, the air is very cool, about 40-45 degrees. The R-134 freon pressure is about 35psi.
Somewhere, probably here on this forum I read about an overheat switch that turns the compressor on and off, the advice was to simply remove the switch, but if I do that, will the compressor overheat and self distruct?
Any advice? Thanks in advance, Peter
