Tires for 850 Wagon 850 1996

Hello List,
I am in sad need of some new tires for the 15" rims on my 1996 850 wagon. I bought the car last year with 25,000 miles on it. It still had the original 8-year-old Yokohamas on and I have driven them up until this day. I really liked the tires when they were a bit fresher. I am trying to choose between the Yokohama AVID 195/60/15s and the Kumho 716 195/60/15s. Any thoughts on either? I prefer a taut and controlled ride over cushion and comfort if that helps. Also I don't have to deal with ice and I live in a fairly arid climate so dry handling is the main concern. I will probably go with the Yokos unless there is good reason not to. Thanks for any and all help!
