Should I get a 98 v70xc

Currently have a 87 740T sw...looking for something new. Came across a 1998 V70XC @ 140kms...looks ( on the surface) to be in nice shape.

What's the deal with these cars...early years of the XC ... AWD issues?

Other things to watch out for on XC of this vintage?
