Buzzing from Speakers S60

I get an intermittent buzzing sound (sounds similar to the sound a computer disk drive makes) from both front and rear speakers. It doesn't matter whether the car is on or off, whether the radio is set to AM,FM, CD, or tape. It is also unrelated to the volume of frequency of what is coming through the speakers - in fact, if it's on CD and there is no CD in the unit, you still get the intermittent buzz.
Any ideas?
