HELP - ECM / Control Module S80 2000

I recently ordered an used ECM(Control Module) and replaced it myself due to my 2000 S80 T6 was showing up tons of errors codes and temperature gauge was not working as well.
Initially, everything looks perfer (no error codes anymore and temperature gauge moved a little), BUT the car won't start.
I was thinking the reason could be following:
1. Defected ECM
2. Incorrect ECM
3. Need dealer to correct/adjust program
4. ..............

Could any one please give me some advise?
