It looks like once every two years, after my car (now with 121,000 miles) is parked for several hours, I try to start it and it does nothing, I mean NOTHING! It happened with a new battery and a not so new (like today, at 55 F)!); in cold weather and in hot weather. The car runs great, and there are no signs of any imminent trouble (and that was the case in each past occurrence of this strange phenomenon). Then, I play with the antitheft system (i.e., lock - unlock the driver's side door and/or the trunk several times), and like magic sooner or later (meaning after a maximum of 5-10 minutes) it starts and it behaves fine until the next time this phenomenon takes place, about two years later! In fact, at two different times in the past, I had called a tow-truck, and then I had to cancel the call-for-help, because my car started.
Is there anybody else who has experienced this phenomenon? Any ideas on what this might be? In all cases, all fuses were fine at all times. HEEEELP!
