Need Advice on AC clutch replacement V70-XC70 1999

The AC clutch on my '99 V70 is making noise and I want to replace it myself. I have purchased a clutch removal tool kit so I can get the clutch off without damaging it or the compressor. I'd appreciate any tips on how to perform this repair from someone who has done it before. I assume it can be done without disconnecting the compressor from the car. Thanks for any and all advice.
