no $180 wiper motor needed, 850 1995

Thank you to those who suggested I return to shop that installed new wiper carriage assembly 3 months ago. The assembly is supposedly 1 part # and comes this way from Volvo parts. A link arm that "snaps" on to something inside had come off. Techs were surprised because it is inside this assembly and dont know how it came off. This loose connection was apparently causing the blades arms to move up 2 inches before parking. Shop didnt seem to think it was a big deal when they fixed it and released it to me doing this, now it doesn't. It parks nice and low. And it should for being a $200 part that was needed 3 months ago because the threads has stripped where wiper arm connects to assembly. I should have taken metal shop in high school and learned to weld a little. :)
