I'd like to replace two rear corner body pieces of a wagon that don't match the car paint color. These are two small rectangular pieces that sit below the tall rear wagon lights, and sit just above the rear bumper, wrap around the corner, one on each side.
I'm guessing that the PO got rear-ended at one point, the body shop couldn't find the pieces that matched the color exactly. Pre-inspection by my indy shop revealed no damage to the frame, so I'm not concerned about that.
It looks like I need to get the rear bumper taken out, pop those two small thingies, put in new ones, then put the bumper back on. Sounds easy, but there's always a catch. Has anyone taken off the rear bumper? Is this a DIY job? Any special tools required for this?
