Service Light ! 850 1995

Hi,

I got a 1995 Volvo 850 T-5R Automatic with 60 miles/96.000 km on the clock. It's the USA model. It's the only T5-R in Iceland.

Few weeks ago the service light came up once I started the car, the light dissapeard after few minutes of driving.

Nothing too wrong yet, but hold your horses

When my bettery went flat, I had to jump start the car.

Then afterwards the service light blinks aggressively all the time!

The monkeys at my dealership said thet there was nothing wrong, when they plugged it in the diognosis-computer. As well they couldn't shut the light down.

So I went to a authorised Volvo shop, which do service a lot of the 850 cars.
They hooked my T5-R up but came up with the same reslut as before.

Tomorrow, I'm going to have a friend of mine a very skilled electric mechanic to take a look at it.

I'm about to remove the dashboard and unplug the service-light bulb.

Hope you guys can help my beloved Volvo through this rough time.
