door lamp S70 1998

I own a 1998 S70 T5. Has anyone had this problem??? when the passenger door is
opened then closed the door lamp under the dash stays on, to get the lamp to turn off the door must be opened then closed multiple times (1-25+ times). Before I take the door panel apart has anyone had or fixed this problem???
I had diconected the lamp, but would rather fix the problem. Any hints?
