s80 T6 tire size S80

I currently have 225/50/17 tires on the S80 T6...
tirerack.com claims that 235/45/17 size will fit too...
anyone has this set up? I imagine they're wider and louder?
I think I might get that size cuz it's cheaper than the 225/50/17s...
go figure
