Coolant Leak 850

Every now and then, when I park and return to my car after about an hour there is a pool of coolant that seems to be coming from somewhere under the reservoir.

My mechanic says that I've got a leak in the radiator, but the radiator seems to be dry and the puddle is definitely further under the car.

As I said this only happens occasionaly and always while the car is parked.

Any suggestions as to what this can be? Can it really be the radiotor?
