I posted on this yesterday but must be lost in the ether.
My mechanic told me I have a bent left front wheel rim on my '95 850 turbo sedan. New rim costs $460., straightening costs $100-150 but I must take the rim to San Jose, fifty miles away and leave it. That puts me driving on the donut for 4 days. Neither solution appeals to me.
I've checked the prices for rims and find the best price for the 16" 5-spoke alloy rim I have is $265 plus shipping.
I'm looking for suggestions as to the best solution. What happens if I do nothing? (Apparently, I bought the car with the rim bent, have put 2K miles on it with no tire leakage and what seems to be a smooth ride)
