1995 850

My 850 has 116,000 miles and as things break or need repair, I do so as quickly as possible. For the first time since owning Volvos (3 and counting) I have an unfamiliar problem that hopefully can be fixed without visiting a mechanic.

Live in So. Cali. and it's been warm this Summer. One night last week, the temp dipped lower than previous nights and the next morning I heard a squeek in the passenger wheel well. Lifted the hood and didn't see anything loose. I bounced the car by pushing on the fender and the squeek was coming from the rubber seat that sits atop the shock absorber. Appears to be a rubber bushing that is showing its age. As the day heats up the squeek goes away. After sitting overnight the squeek comes back.

Anyone had to do this repair? Any info would be helpful.
